When is the payment due and how do you accept payment?
At AM&H payment acceptance can vary and depends largely upon the service requested. Local Relocations are paid immediately per unloaded. Long Distance Relocations are generally require a 50% (Deposit toward invoice) per loaded, and the remaining 50% (Balance toward invoice) per unloaded. Commercial/Corporate Relocations enjoy a wider variety of payment options such as billed invoice, corporate card or check, etc. For your convenience we accept all Major Credit Cards, Check, Invoice & Cash.
What is partial packing and full packing?
Partial packing means packing of a few items only. These items can comprise some of your belongings like TV sets, fragile items, upholstered furniture, etc. However, full packing means that our team will pack everything for you. You will only have to take care of your documents and valuables.
Why is insurance necessary after valuation?
Insurance offers much needed protection from unexpected circumstances over which one has no control.
What does valuation protection mean?
It is the maximum protection for which a moving company is liable in case of any damage during transit. It is .60 cents per pound – per item but, at A-Absolute Moving we understand personal, as well as sentimental value. Therefore in the rare event of a damage or loss, we either send the damaged furnishing to our State of The Art repair affiliates or replace at it’s new or depreciated value.
How can I help the moving company?
You can help by being prepared on the day of moving. However, for insurance reasons, you are not allowed on the truck.
